Badatz Certification requires a more stringent inspection process, constant surveillance and the use of only approved raw materials. Every stage of the process, from raw materials to production, from staff training to cleaning procedures, is supervised according to the rules and an inspector must be present at all times during production. Approval must also be obtained for any changes to the ingredients and the facility must also comply with the Shabbat rule.

The Badatz Certificate shows that the products not only comply with basic Kosher rules but also with stricter criteria. In this respect, it is also perceived as Premium Kosher.
